| Abstract: | ESPAÑOL: La literatura carnavalizada
debe caracterizarse por una intención
política transgresora, que
asuma todos los lenguajes canónicos
y elitistas, con sus variantes
internas, para parodiarlos y ridiculizarlos
al máximo. El carnaval será
un atajo para liberar al presente de
toda historicidad. En esta literatura
se inscribe la novela, El toque de
Diana, que presenta una realidad
trastocada, una “otredad”, que problematiza
la existencia cotidiana de
los personajes.
ENGLISH: Burlesque literature must be
characterized by a subversive political
intention that assumes all the
canonical and elitist languages,
with their internal variants, to
parody them and to ridicule them
as much as possible. The carnival
is a shorthand manner of freeing
the present from all historical
contexts. The novel, El Toque de
Diana, falls within the tradition of
this literature. It depicts an altered
reality, an “otherness” that highlights
the problematic daily existence
of the characters. |
